Summary:This release includes major enhancements to case and death history, the introduction of Google’s COVID-19 public forecasts, and a number of user experience improvements.

Improvements In This Release
- New charts for historical daily case and death counts at the national, state, and county level.
- New state and county hotspot maps showing anticipated per-capita new cases and hospital admissions, two weeks hence.
- New state and county forecast charts, showing anticipated changes in cases and deaths, two weeks hence.
- The interactive dashboards have been moved to the primary focal position, with the navigation map still accessible via a menu option.
- Data previously missing from certain counties is now included.
- States and counties are captured in the URL, enabling deep linking for sharing and social media.
- Many minor improvements to design, layout, and usability.

Next: Near future releases will include locations of nearby COVID-19 testing facilities, county-by-county COVID-19 diagnosis forecasts, and unique analytics from the NRP Consortium.
Improvements In This Release
- The full history of community mobility data is now available for all counties for which Google provides the data.
- To remove confusion between unknown recoveries and zero recoveries, Recovered Cases on the map has been removed where the data is not yet available to the NRP
- The Impact of Social Distancing distancing visualization on the state and county dashboards now show start and end dates of social distancing policies.
- Dashboard tables no longer require scrolling to view all records.
- All table columns are sortable.
- Launch page issues on mobile devices have been resolved.
- Many minor improvements to design, layout, and usability.
Known Issues
- Due to gaps in data available from our source data providers, a small number of counties are missing recent data on COVID-19 diagnoses. These counties include:
- Alaska: Bristol Bay, Dillingham, Lake and Peninsula, Valdez-Cordova
- California: Modoc
- Massachusetts: Dukes, Nantucket
- Missouri: Dent, Douglas, Grundy, Mercer, Monroe, Schuyler, Shannon
- Utah: Box Elder, Cache, Carbon, Duchesne, Emery, Garfield, Grand, Iron, Juab, Kane, Millard, Morgan, Piute, Sanpete, Sevier, Uintah, Washington, Washington, Weber
- In some circumstances, clicking the browser back button after drilling down into a county or state dashboard resets the portal, rather than returning users to the state or national dashboard.

Summary: The initial launch of the National Response Portal includes the ability to find local medical facilities and essential services, visualizations for diagnosis and death trends, and our unique views into social distancing policy, social mobility, and health outcomes.
